Phase is committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data responsibly. This page explains where your data is stored, how long we keep it, and your rights under GDPR.
Data Storage Location
All Phase Analytics data is stored in Falkenstein, Germany in secure, GDPR-compliant data centers.
We use European data centers to ensure compliance with EU data protection regulations and provide fast access for our global user base.
Data Retention
Retention Period: 1 year for all membership plans
- Analytics data (events, sessions, screen views) is retained for 12 months from the date of collection
- After 1 year, data is automatically and permanently deleted from our systems
- This applies to all plans including free and paid subscriptions
Once data is deleted after the retention period, it cannot be recovered. Export your data before the retention period expires if you need to keep it longer.
Data Usage and Protection
We never sell your data. Your analytics data is:
- Used solely for providing analytics services to you
- Never shared with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes
- Never sold to data brokers or other companies
- Protected with industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS in transit, AES-256 at rest)
- Accessible only to you and your authorized team members

Data Breach Notification
In the unlikely event of a data breach that affects your personal data:
- We will notify you within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach
- Notification will include details of the breach, potential impact, and measures taken
- We will report the breach to relevant supervisory authorities as required by GDPR
